Florence Park is currently hiring Dietary Aide's to become part of our care team.
The Food Service Aide is knowledgeable in food production, food service, sanitation and long term care. The Food Service Aide is a member of a cooperative food service team providing care that respects the dignity of all facility residents and serves their needs with competence and compassion.
Dietary Aide Functions
- Serve meals, clear and wash dishes, wipe tables and perform other cleaning tasks.
- Set tray line and assist with tray line preparation.
- Assist in meal and dessert preparation.
- Prepare food items, following recipes and menus, particularly therapeutic diets.
- Ensure daily food production meets facility needs and residents’ therapeutic diets.
- Prepare food items following standardized recipes.
- Follow daily production sheets.
- Store, date and label leftovers.
- Wash dishes, pots and pans.
- Clean and sanitize food carts.
- Return trays, lids, plates, etc. to proper storage areas.
- Clean kitchen, including food preparation areas, refrigerators.
- Set dining room tables.
