Cashier

Overview
As a Cashier at Florentin Bakery, you’ll be at the heart of our guest experience, balancing efficiency and hospitality. You will handle transactions with precision, assist customers with their selections, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. Your attention to detail and friendly demeanor will make every visit seamless and enjoyable, keeping customers coming back for more.

Duties

• Greet every customer with a smile and assist them in exploring our menu of baked goods, beverages, and all-day breakfast items.
• Process orders quickly and accurately, whether it’s cash, card, or mobile payments.
• Package bread, pastries, and other treats so they look just as good as they taste.
• Occasionally prepare coffee, tea, and smoothies to ensure quick service during busy times.
• Keep the counter and front-of-house area clean, organized, and inviting.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Answer questions about our menu (yes, you’ll get to taste it too!) and provide recommendations.
• Assist in managing inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed.
• Support your teammates during busy moments—it’s all about teamwork here!

Experience

• You genuinely enjoy helping people and have a passion for providing excellent customer service.
• You can handle busy moments with calm and efficiency.
• Accuracy and attention to detail are second nature to you.
• You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• English is a must-have for clear communication with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine or is a big plus.
• Hebrew language skills are an advantage, but not required.
• Previous experience in retail or food service is helpful, but we’re happy to train the right person.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 18 per week
