Responsibilities
Collaborates with key campus stakeholders to design courses for in-person and online delivery; Develops and conducts classroom instruction, seminars, and workshops; Maintains training catalog as required to develop and submit required reports; Assists the Senior Associate Director in the development and execution of online training education reports as required by Title III, and campus departments; Maintains database regarding enrollment records and evaluations; Create, design and development promotional materials; Participates in workshops, conferences and seminars; Conducts presentations to various groups on appropriate course content; Supports faculty and staff with on-going tasks related to the Learning Management System; Participates in the development of institutional processes and standards related to professional development; and performs othee duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years of related experience; or master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
Recommended Competencies
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing;
Knowledge of principles, practices, and standards of human resources administration in assigned area;
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related university policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations;
Ability to utilize multimedia approaches to training;
Ability to utilize public speaking skills;
Knowledge of training and teaching methodology;
Ability to develop materials and visual aids for training; and
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in instructional design or similar discipline (bachelor of master level); Experience handling multiple training projects; Solid knowledge in course development software, Strong visual design skills; experience developing courses are strongly preferred.

This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P) position.

Successful candidate is subject to a pre-employment screening which includes a review of criminal records, reference checks and verification of education. An official college transcript, a high school diploma, or other educational documents must be submitted, where applicable, at the time of employment.
