Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Student Research Assistant located in Tallahassee, FL. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting gut microbiome research, machineearning analysis, and culturomics laboratory work to support ongoing projects and initiatives at the Chauhan lab. A full tuition and stipend will be provided to the candidate with desirable background and skills.
Qualifications
- Gut microbiome research experience
- Experience with anaerobic microbial culturonics work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with machine learning applications to microbial metaomics data sets is a plus
