Position Summary :
Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Associate Director of Student Academic Services & Key Performance Indicators, Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities :
Leads the strategic planning for assigned areas and assists the Director in developing and implementing the overall departmental strategic plan.
Provides guidance and mentorship to the undergraduate academic advisors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Manages and advises a caseload of FTIC and transfer cohort students.
Monitors student academic plans to provide timely, proactive outreach to ensure degree progress and timely graduation.
Manages student outreach efforts, as it pertains for FTIC and transfer cohort students :
Creates material / updates for FTIC / transfer cohort Canvas course
Manages Navigate campaign efforts to enhance student communication efforts
Develops workshops / events for FTIC and transfer cohort students
Coordinates ongoing training for academic advisors, and other academic department staff members on various advising policies, and updates and procedures.
Manage and oversee assigned staff projects, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines. Delegates responsibilities effectively, while providing the necessary support for successful project execution.
Leads program initiatives to ensure students are provided with the necessary support and advising that is centered on the needs of the student so they can be successful within their degree programs.
Analyzes the effectiveness of and establishes future direction for office policies and procedures related to the State of Florida Key Performance Indicators.
Works closely with Director to identify any potential barriers or challenges that may hinder student progress toward their degrees.
Contributes to implementation of any new programs and initiatives to improve student success, as well as assessment of advising services.
Steps in, as necessary, to advise on programs of study and counseling on academic matters when a student is dissatisfied with their academic advising experience
Conduct ongoing evaluations and assessments for at-risk programming to ensure effectiveness of services and recommend and implement modifications as necessary.
Attends weekly administrative team meetings focused on ensuring best practices within the advising unit and student success outcomes.
Reports to the Director of Student Academic Services for Undergraduate Studies. May function as the Director in their absence.
Performs all other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience required.
Master's Degree and five years of University / Student Academic Services administration experience and five years of experience working directly with State of Florida Key Performance Indicators preferred.
Salary : 75,000 per year.
