Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and project requirements.
- Develop detailed architectural plans and drawings using software such as Rhinoceros 3D, Sketchup, and ArchiCAD.
- Create 2D animations and visual presentations to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Utilize 3ds Max for rendering high-quality visualizations of projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data for design development.
- Work closely with engineers and other professionals on system design and mechanical design aspects of projects.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations throughout the design process.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress and addressing any challenges that arise.
Experience
- Proficiency in architectural design software including Rhinoceros 3D, MicroStation, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, and 2D animation tools.
- Previous experience in interior design or related fields is a plus.
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and structural systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
