Position Overview:
The Card Services manager is responsible for oversight of processes to support the credit union’s assets, ensuring card processing operation efficiencies, creating best practices for card security and effectively managing the staff. Card Services Manager is responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating activities of the Card Services Specialists in the Card Services department to achieve daily processing activities. Card Services Manager acts as back up to VP of Card Services to handle all card services functions for Florida Credit Union. Conducts these activities in accordance with polices, goals and objectives established by management by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing leadership to Card Services staff by delegating, providing direction, assisting with problem recognition and resolution and assisting with escalated problems.
- Establishes and maintains service goals and expectations by evaluating service touch point volume (ticket system, phone calls, emails, etc.).
- Manages process improvements within Card Services, to increase operational efficiency and staff productivity.
- Maintains compliance with card rules and regulations governing credit union products. Responsible for regulation compliance goals by remaining abreast of regulation changes and related legal team guidance.
- Manages staff resolution efforts to serve credit union membership while protecting credit union assets.
What We're Looking For:
- A high school diploma or GED combined with 1-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
- A current driver’s license.
