Florida Credit Union is looking for an Events Specialist to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of dynamic community events, outreach initiatives, and our highly anticipated annual back-to-school celebrations. From managing vendors and promotional materials to overseeing logistics and sponsorships, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our community connections.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Execution: Plan and coordinate approved community events, outreach initiatives, and annual back-to-school events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries, providing exceptional customer service to internal teams, vendors, community partners, and attendees.
- Vendor & Logistics Management: Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and other service providers to secure necessary event resources and ensure smooth execution.
- Promotion & Marketing Support: Assist with event promotion strategies and ensure maximum engagement through various marketing channels.
- Promo Item Management: Oversee company promotional items, including inventory tracking, ordering, and distribution to support events and outreach efforts.
- Budget Oversight: Maintain event budgets and adjust plans as necessary to stay within budget while ensuring high-quality execution.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a similar role.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience in a marketing or communications setting.
- A current driver’s license.
