JOB SUMMARY : Plan, organize, and participate in the daily operations of Dry, Freezer, and Cooler Warehousing, Shipping & Receiving, and Logistics. Clearly communicate in a friendly, professional manner and perform related work as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- 3–5 years’ previous operations experience
- High school diploma (Associates Preferred)
- Forklift certification
- ERP experience

Lead and collaborate with team to contribute to success of department and company goalsLead and delegate tasks to team members to define projects, develop / document plans, and complete projectsPulling and issuing materials to the production departmentReceive materials and supplies from vendors, WIP, and finished goodsVerify physically all the material received in terms of lot numbers, quantity and quality of packagePrint drums / ingredients labels for all the product received according to shipping documents and COAsKeep updated all data entry in the system as needed (production – Finish Goods)Shipping of finished goods and other materialsParticipates in quarterly inventories and weekly cycle countsMaintains area to meet SQF and GMP requirementsAble to work occasional weekends, holidays, and eveningsReceives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing officer per company policyVerifies and records all items loaded for shipmentsCarefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable palletsMaintains database of shipment data to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as requiredNotifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutionsTransports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as neededLoads / unload trucks using a forkliftOther duties as assignedMust be able to bid lanes and compare the rates to the current rates provide monthly reports about if rates increase and how that would impact the cost of goods sold.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balanceMust be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reachingMust be able to lift up to 60 poundsMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse, loading dock and freezerFFP COMPANY OVERVIEW :
