The Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association is the state’s leading full-service specialty crop organization, serving Florida’s grower-shipper community since 1943. FFVA represents a broad range of crops, including vegetables, citrus, tropical fruit, berries, sod, sugar cane, tree crops and more. We are seeking a Workforce Program Manager. This position manages the administration of the H-2A services program for FFVA members. This role reports to the Director of Labor Relations and requires leadership abilities, critical thinking, strong organizational and time management skills, and close attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Program Administration: Oversee the administration of FFVA’s H-2A services program to facilitate members’ participation in temporary worker visa programs. Ensure timely filing of complete and accurate applications, supplemental information, and responses to government agencies in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide direction, guidance, support, and supervision to assigned team members. Provide technical direction and assist in the investigation and resolution of problems. Advise on performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions to the Director.
- Process Improvement: Develop, maintain, implement, and improve internal systems and processes for the efficient processing of quality H-2A applications and petitions.
- Billing and Payments: Issue and track invoices and process payments for members’ use of FFVA’s H-2A services.
- Member Support: Serve as the primary contact and respond to individual inquiries from members using the Association’s H-2A services.
- Event Coordination: Coordinate the planning and execution of the annual agricultural labor relations forum, including scheduling speakers, securing hotel and conference space, organizing conference materials, and facilitating conference registrations.
- Other Duties: Attend and participate in various forums and meetings as directed. Perform or assist with any assignments as directed.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Previous experience in program management or a similar role. Experience in labor or immigration law is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills, and close attention to detail.

- Environment: Office setting with occasional travel for conferences and meetings.
