Licensed Clinical Psychologist
We are seeking a Psy.D or Ph.D psychologist to join our team. Provide services to patients in a collaborative framework. Clinical responsibilities include psychological evaluations and testing, individual therapy, health education, and patient consultation. This individual will manage a caseload covering a wide variety of medical and mental health diagnoses.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
Clinical responsibilities include psychological/neuropsychological evaluations and testing, individual therapy, and health education as they relate to pain management. This individual will manage a caseload covering a wide variety of medical and mental health diagnoses.
- Establishes and implements short-term/long-term treatment objectives for patients based on individual testing results and overall care plan
- Maintains complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered (e.g. initial evaluations, daily progress notes, summary notes, and discharge summaries)
- Creates strong relationships with his/her team and patients
- Offers clinical expertise when consulted by other physicians or staff
- Maintain knowledge of current research, trends, and standards of practice
- Maintains an organized and clean workspace
- Performs other incidental duties assigned by the Medical Director
Additional Job Qualifications:
- Experience in psychological/neuropsychological testing- Must
- Knowledge of patient rights and laws pertaining to mental health
- Knowledge of substance abuse counseling
- Specialized training (i.e. fellowship, work experience) treating patients with chronic pain
