OVERVIEW
We are seeking a licensed mental health professional, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), to provide related services to clients at our office. We want passionate mental health practitioners who will work hard for the betterment of the client. We offer a stable volume of cases, flexible scheduling, and regular training to keep you at the forefront of our field... and our specialty. We're very hands-on and enjoy a collaborative atmosphere.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an associate mental health therapist for FMHP, you’ll provide individual, group, and family counseling; complete and submit necessary reports, notes, and other information and documentation as necessary for proper record-keeping and insurance claim filing; participate in treatment team, a weekly event where we share the ups-and-downs of our cases that week, as well as any lessons learned, tips and tricks, etc.; just as important, you must be reliable, trainable, trustworthy, discrete, professional, punctual, and courteous. You will also be responsible for supervising 6 interns.
EXPERIENCE
Two or more years’ current experience providing mental health services to adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group settings; and at least two professional references.
LICENSURE
You must have current and active LMHC or LMFT license in good standing with the Board.
LANGUAGES
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
MISCELLANEOUS
Current active caseload varies between 15-18 session hours per week.
