We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent) to join our team on a part-time, as-needed basis. As a counselor, you will provide counseling services to individuals dealing with various mental health challenges. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a clinical setting or private practice.
- Familiarity with evidence-based counseling techniques and interventions.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines for mental health professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions for patients, focusing on mental health and behavioral well-being.
- Utilize clinical research and evidence-based practices to inform treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including coding for billing purposes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- State licensure (Florida) as a Mental Health Therapist or eligibility for licensure.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatment.
