We want passionate mental health practitioners who will work hard for the betterment of the client. We offer a stable volume of cases, flexible scheduling, and regular training to keep you at the forefront of our field... and our specialty. We're very hands-on and enjoy a collaborative atmosphere.
Job Description
As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern for FMHP, you’ll provide individual, group, and family counseling; complete and submit necessary reports, notes, and other information and documentation as necessary for proper record-keeping and insurance claim filing; participate in treatment team, a weekly event where we share the ups-and-downs of our cases that week, as well as any lessons learned, tips and tricks, etc.; and just as important, you must be reliable, trainable, trustworthy, discrete, professional, punctual, and courteous.
Experience
Two or more years’ current experience providing mental health services to adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group settings; and at least two professional references.
Not enough experience? Recent graduates may apply as you will be under the direct supervision of a clinical psychologist until such time as you have demonstrated the skills and techniques necessary for a more unsupervised role. This exemption, however, does not extend to the licensure requirement below. In other words, you must still be licensed in order to apply. While we greatly appreciate and are certainly looking for highly motivated candidates, we simply cannot make any exceptions for failing to meet the licensure requirement needed for this position.
LICENSURE
Registered Mental Health Counselor must have current and active RMHCI license in good standing with the Board.
LANGUAGES
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
MISCELLANEOUS
Current active caseload varies between 20-25 session hours per week.

Pay: $48,000.00 per year (Based on a 40-hour work week NOT per client seen)
