Warehouse Assistant Job Description
The warehouse associate supports the warehouse manager in receiving & distributing products into the main warehouse and between multiple park stores located within South Florida's National Parks. We are looking for a motivated associate to support a high-volume and busy warehouse distribution center. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be able to follow directions, multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform duties in a timely manner. Other required attributes are commitment, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. This position will report to the Inventory/Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming warehouse deliveries to be counted and stocked in a timely manner
- Receive counted stock into the POS/Inventory Management system
- When receiving, check that product information is accurate in Point of Sales (POS) system, including pricing and GTIN/SKU barcodes
- Weekly pulling, boxing and delivery of products to stores
- Weekly Transfers in POS/Inventory management for warehouse deliveries to store locations
- Regular shipments – including pulling and boxing products, packing slips, weights, shipping labels
- Notify the warehouse manager when inventory discrepancies are discovered or when stock is low
- Assisting with putting away products in stockrooms
- Assist with spot checks and inventory counts
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Pull and process online orders for shipment
- Loading delivery vehicles and packing shipments
- Follow operational and record keeping procedures to ensure accurate records of warehouse activities
- Collecting and delivering cash deposits, change orders, and donation box funds
- Maintain and service delivery fleet vehicles including washing
- Organize inventory and maximizes storage capacity in all warehouse spaces
- Review and adjust transfer discrepancies and damaged/expired products
- Drive weekly deliveries to stores
- Other duties as assigned

- Shipping & receiving experience of 1-2 years
- Quality inventory control experience of 2-3 years
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle driving history
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
Work Environment:
- In person Mon – Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM
- Standing and walking inside warehouse
- Ability to lift (45-50 lbs) and stock warehouse shelves, including bending and reaching
- Driving to store locations, including a 5 hour round trip once a week
- Working outside warehouse loading vehicles, receiving deliveries, and delivering to stores
