What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Assistant position at FLORIDA ORTHOPEDICS & NEUROSURGERY LLC?
The Front desk staff will perform general clerical duties in support of patient services as directed by the Office Manager. Duties include answering phones, photocopying, faxing, typing, completing forms, taking messages and checking voice mail. Scan and enter all new patient information into Electronic Medical Records system. Front desk staff verifies the patient's current address, phone number and allergy information. Front desk staff will need to locate, review and update paper and computer files for the physician. Some other duties are collecting electronic medical records and laboratory results. Bilingual and Orthopedic experience a plus.
