Job Title: PACE Administrator in Training
Job Summary
The Administrator in Training will undergo 12 months of training in all aspects of PACE, Program of the All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, regulatory oversight, and compliance requirements (as mandated by state and federal agencies)
Essential Job Functions
- Assumes leadership, on an as needed basis, for assigned PACE sites
- Supports the Florida PACE Centers Vice President and Site Directors in presenting the PACE program and MJH to the local community
- Participates in program quality projects including identifying the need for new services and innovative ways to provide care, improving efficiency and effectiveness, and responding to participant and community needs
- Engages in operational leadership and budgetary training for the Florida PACE Centers
- Facilitates and moderates interdisciplinary team meetings
- Undertakes Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) projects and makes recommendations surrounding regulatory and quality requirements
- Participates in Business Development or Advocacy efforts for growth of the program
- Leads special projects as assigned by Florida PACE Vice President
- Performs other related duties as required
Abilities Required:
- Ability to analyze and compare all regulatory requirements
- Familiar with managed care principles and practices
- Problem-solving/decision making skills, critical and analytical thinking including strong negotiation and conflict management skills
- Local travel required
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Social Work, or related field required.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative experience
- Minimum one (1) year experience in the care and support of the frail elderly population
Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and auto insurance for use of personal vehicle to perform job duties.
