As Warehouse Supervisor you will lead Warehouse Operations. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with Warehouse Manager to strategize and develop long term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company. This role will report directly to the Warehouse Unit Manager and is responsible for operational performance management, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and development of supply chain standards that will continue to bring value to our operational strategy.

What you'll do:
  • Provide overall operational leadership to multiple manufacturing areas, and support functions.
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas to ensure that products, plans, processes, promotions, and other strategies are translated into realistic operational plans Efficiently guide, manage, and handle the entire warehouse team.
  • Ensure a smooth and effective flow of products and operations in the warehouse and docks.
  • Develop processes and communication procedures to ensure efficient operation and workflow.
  • Ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and security of the warehouse and dock environment.

  • Represent warehouse department on the Health and Safety Committee as required.
  • Oversee daily operations of the warehouse

  • Maintain inventory accuracy levels
  • Conduct regular audits
  • Implement safety procedures

  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise
  • Ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and security of the warehouse and dock environment.
  • Develop financial plans to ensure proper asset management and capital improvements that will allow the company to achieve improved quality, competitive advantage, service leadership, and cost reduction
  • Manage talent effectively to develop best in class skills and build team resiliency
  • Drive optimization and standardization of operational and supply chain processes
  • Establish criteria for acceptable workplace behaviors and performance and compare work quality to those standards
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of responsibilities
  • Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs using Innovation enterprise-wide, and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs
  • Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
What we're looking for:

  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to deal effectively with time pressure and manage demanding deadlines.
  • Position prefers administrative experience including cost control, inventory control and documentation systems.
  • A candidate must be able to proficiently use Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills with professional and courtesy in mind.
  • Must have developmental capabilities to develop warehouse personnel.
  • Requires a Associate Degree in a relative field. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relative field is preferred. 4 years of proven leadership experience in a warehouse operation may be considered in lieu of a Associates Degree.
  • Requires a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in business with at least two (2) years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering
  • Must possess demonstrated ability to lead others, and preferred experience as a operations supervisor with a large number or employees
  • Lean Manufacturing and TPM is preferred
  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ex: SAP, ERP, CRM) is preferred
