Job Responsibilities
Demonstrate alertness and discretion while supervising campers to ensure their safety and well-being.
Display compassion, patience, tolerance, and gentleness when interacting with campers to create a supportive and understanding environment.
Utilize creativity, enthusiasm, and initiative to lead group activities and engage campers in a fun and exciting camp atmosphere.
Maintain self-control and adhere to character traits of virtue to serve as an appropriate role model for campers at all times.
Show hospitality and attentiveness towards donors, deputies, and guests to make them feel included and comfortable during camping programs.
Show flexibility and availability when faced with change and demonstrate willingness to assist in any Camping Services program when requested.
Demonstrate resourcefulness and thriftiness in the wise stewardship of the agency's resources, including equipment, buildings, vehicles, and other assets.
Practice diligence and orderliness when completing required paperwork such as mileage logs, travel expense vouchers, incident reports, and time sheets.
Display honor, obedience, and flexibility when direction is given or a request is made, contributing to the smooth operation and success of the Youth Ranches program.
