At Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing sufficient funds to operate, expand, and endow our programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide a clear vision and leadership for the statewide donor relations team in an effort to meet the overall financial development objectives.
- Supervise and manage the statewide donor relations team by coordinating, advising, motivating, training and evaluating employees.
- Know and interpret the mission of the agency to the public through various media, publications, and verbal communication.
- Acquire and cultivate charitable gifts through direct mail, payroll deduction, and various other methods.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree with at least 10 years of fundraising and development experience in progressively responsible leadership positions.
- Strong background managing all aspects of fundraising, including high net worth individuals, foundation and corporate relations, direct mail, and social media.
- Experience creating budgets and forecasting revenue.
