Private School Teacher & Ministry Leader
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher with a heart for ministry to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in teaching core subjects to elementary and/or high school students while also having the ability to incorporate music into the curriculum. We are looking for someone who can inspire our students both academically and spiritually, demonstrating a high degree of excellence in their teaching and a love for music.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core subjects to elementary and high school students, ensuring lessons are engaging and tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Incorporate music into the curriculum, playing music regularly to inspire and engage students.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the school's Christian values and educational standards.
- Integrate biblical principles and Christian teachings into all classroom activities.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and spiritual development, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and participate in school-wide events, chapel services, and ministry activities.
- Encourage student participation in various academic and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain and care for classroom resources, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
- Engage with parents and the school community to promote the academic and spiritual growth of students.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of and commitment to Christian teachings and values.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
- Prior experience in a Christian school or ministry setting is highly desirable.
