Hello!! Do you enjoy speaking on the phone and solving problems? Have you always wanted a chance to work in the medical field? We have the perfect position for you! We are a very busy medical practice that receives a lot of phone calls. You will be responsible for answering and scheduling all incoming calls in a timely manor. You will be responsible for obtaining and logging all necessary prior authorizations/referrals 48 hours prior to scheduled appointments in the E-Clinical Works (ECW) medical billing system.
Accurate scheduling with appropriate provider. Verify patient's insurance. Request and obtain authorization prior to appointment.
Must have a positive and cheerful/friendly disposition. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be patient and have excellent listening skills. Must be organized and able to multi-task. This is a high-volume, fast-paced, very busy office and the phones ring all day. Must be able to stay calm and polite, cheerful and helpful.
Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required. This job will mostly be remote but will need to be able to come into our offices in the Hudson/Spring Hill and Brooksville locations weekly.

Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two years experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize
- Communication skills must be excellent
- Must be able to attend work at scheduled time on scheduled days with minimal absences
- Must be HIPAA compliant at all times.
