Come Join Our Team! Our office in Hudson is looking for a front desk Medical Receptionist. As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. You should have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcomes and greets patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and respectfully
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage
- Collect co-payments and process payments accurately
- Manage and maintain patient charts and medical records
- Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred
- ECW EHR experience preferred

Requirements
Must have knowledge of healthcare field and medical terminology. Understands and can comply with HIPAA. Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures, computer savvy. Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred. Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation needed. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
