About the Role
As the Hospital Training Coordinator, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our veterinary team. Working closely with leadership and technical staff, you will design and deliver training programs that enhance skills, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster a culture of growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored training programs for technical staff.
- Oversee onboarding for new team members, ensuring seamless integration into hospital workflows.
- Regularly audit compliance with medical documentation standards, including terminology, grammar, and legal requirements.
- Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training to address areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to set goals, maintain SOPs, and evaluate evolving hospital needs.
- Review and address discrepancies in practice management software (ezyVet & SmartFlow) usage, providing training as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Credentials: RVT, LVT, or CVT with current documentation.
- Experience: Proven expertise in adult teaching/training; a teaching certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strong veterinary nursing and technical abilities, with proficiency in medical terminology, documentation, and written communication.
- Attitude: A collaborative, professional, and positive approach to mentoring and team building.
- Physical Requirements: Able to safely restrain patients, lift up to 60 lbs., and work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
