Consumer Loan Credit Analyst
Responsible for credit decisions of consumer loans received through direct and indirect channels.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes a thorough, in-depth analysis of credit requests.
Makes decision to approve, disapprove, or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision.
Prepares and/or reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
Provides feedback and coaching to frontline lenders as needed.
Assist staff to identify and offer loan products to best meet members’ financial needs.
Communicate with indirect dealers regarding loan decisions and suggest alternative recommendations.
Keeps informed of current trends in consumer credit.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Monitors current loan portfolio to ensure compliance with terms and coordinates with collections as needed.

Experience: 3 years of lending responsibility with a financial institution preferred. *Prior experience with CUDL (Origence) and Jack Henry’s ELA preferred. *Ability to prioritize tasks and deal with competing priorities to meet deadlines. *Ability to prioritize tasks and deal with competing priorities to meet deadlines. *Accurate and detail oriented. *Ability to identify and resolve complex problems. *Good communication and interpersonal skills *Works independently under minimal supervision.
Education/ Certifications/ Licenses: High school degree or GED required. Requires NMLS and 02-29 CREDIT Insurance License Appointment, OR Successful Application, Issuance, and Appointment of NMLS and 02-29 CREDIT License within 90 days to be eligible for Continued Employment.
