Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews and monitors each purchase order to ensure timely product delivery.
- Manage large amounts of incoming emails and calls from customers and vendors.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Monitor supplier acknowledged dates and manage them in the company ERP system.
- Actively follow up with suppliers to verify dates for critical components.
- Contact suppliers to verify shipment details.
- Work with procurement team to ensure all purchase orders are acknowledged with expected delivery dates.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers as needed.
- Key resource for expediting shipments and other resources.
- Participate in production scheduling to ensure components arrive timely to meet customer deadlines.
- Utilize company ERP and reporting tools to focus on resolving critical component delivery issues
- Respond to inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree is desired, not required.
- Prophet 21 (P21) experience helpful but not required.
- Experience in a customer service or procurement role is a plus.
- Strong communication skills needed.
