Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer located in Union, NJ. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, engaging in effective communication, driving sales, and delivering top-notch customer service while working on-site.

Our Sales Engineers are responsible for interacting with our customers and ensuring that they receive quality products that match their application needs. Through project management and planning, sales engineers work across several functional teams to ensure our customers projects are completed in a timely manner. 

Qualifications

• Sales Engineering and Sales skills
• Manage order intake process
• Engage with customers and clarify any specifications
• Coordinate with Purchasing for inventory needed for current or future projects
• Kick Off production
• Create kick off packets and prepare for production
• Hand off drawings to nestor
• Fill in production sheet (fab/master schedule) and begin plan
• Customer reporting and supporting customer with any additional needs or changes to orders
• Customer Service skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Experience in conveyor systems or manufacturing industry is a plus

Requirements/Skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-3 years of experience
• Project Planning certification is a plus
