What are the responsibilities and job description for the COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL PROGRAMMER (2ND SHIFT) position at Flowco?
This is a second shift job.

CNC Programmer will create and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Esprit and G-code, as well as, accomplishing process improvements, machining optimization and CNC program proofing. Will also design fixturing, analyze and solve machining problems, as well as being the team lead for the 2nd shift of CNC Machinists
Skills and duties required or preferred
- Mastercam experience required
- Esprit experience preferred
- Can setup and operate all equipment in machine shop
- Knowledgeable of all CNC equipment in machine shop
- Experience with Haas CNCs (Lathe and Mill)
- Familiar with Fanuc controls
- Multi-axis CNC lathe, CNC Horizontal Mill and CNC Vertical mill experience preferred, must have strong CNC lathe
- Knowledge of G-code programming required
- Experience with API threading
- Knows how to use inspection equipment / tools
- Able to trouble shoot machining problems
- Ability to read blue prints and drawings
- Understands cutting tool geometry and application
- Advise process improvements for efficiency, tool life and quality, and help implement
- Knowledgeable on fixturing, tool design and setups
- Knowledge feeds / speeds vs. tooling and materials
- Great positive attitude

This role is a 2nd (night) shift role and receives a shift differential.
