Ages of Children: 7-months-old
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 20-25 hours total per week. Hours will typically fall on T-Th between the hours of 7AM-5PM, with the exact schedule being confirmed 1-2 weeks in advance.
Compensation: $22-24/h based on experience
Benefits: Guaranteed hours, PTO, sick days, paid major holidays, full access to the family’s building amenities (pool, lounge, fitness center, movie theater, etc.)
A warm and easygoing family in Liverpool, NY, is looking for a kind, attentive, and engaging nanny to provide part-time care for their sweet and spunky 7-month-old daughter! The family has secured a daycare spot for their daughter beginning in September, 2025, but the parents may forgo this option if they find that private, at-home care is a better fit for their family. Both parents work from home and plan to be present and available throughout the day, creating a collaborative and communicative environment.
These loving parents describe their daughter as a happy, curious baby who loves books, playtime, and exploring her world. The family practices a gentle but structured approach to caregiving and is looking for a nanny who will respect their child's pace and allow her to explore her limits in a safe and supported way as she grows. Responsibilities will include following her established routine, bottle feeding, supporting baby-led weaning with whole foods (all meals are prepped by parents), as well as engaging her in developmental play, reading, and outdoor activities. Walks outside are encouraged, and as she grows, the nanny may take her on local adventures to the park or library!
This family’s ideal nanny is warm, proactive, and understands a balanced approach to caregiving. Someone who is comfortable with pets and light pet care, such as short, occasional dog walks for the family’s big and friendly fur baby when time permits would be ideal. Light child-related tidying, laundry, or dishes during downtime would also be appreciated. While not required, there may be opportunities for travel with the family.
