Floral Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. This role involves creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions while providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions.
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department, ensuring all stock is well-displayed.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering new stock as needed to ensure freshness.
• Provide landscape maintenance services as required, including plant care and arrangement upkeep.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience and promote e-commerce sales through online platforms.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing, discounts, and sales effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and retail sales processes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance is a plus but not required.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms is desirable for promoting online sales.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
