Job Description
We are seeking a Preschool Associate Teacher to join our team at Flowers Early Learning, a high-quality preschool located in Benton Harbor, Michigan. This position is responsible for assisting lead teachers with instruction, classroom management, cleaning, food preparation, and implementing curriculum for preschool-age children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers with instruction and classroom management
- Implement curriculum and on-going assessments for preschool-age children
- Participate in child development observations and provide feedback to lead teachers
- Contribute to a safe and healthy learning environment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with one-year related experience
- Child Development Associate credential or associate's degree in early childhood education within two years of hire
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
