As the Senior Salesforce Developer you are responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing applications within the Salesforce platform to meet the unique needs of the organization. This role requires a blend of coding, configuration, and integration expertise to enhance the customer relationship management (CRM) experience, streamline business processes, and improve overall system functionality.
Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
- Design and develop tailored applications on the Salesforce platform to meet organizational requirements.
- Write Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages to create dynamic and scalable solutions.
- Develop and implement Lightning components for an enhanced user experience.
- Create and manage Salesforce objects, fields, and data models to support business operations.
- Write and optimize complex SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) queries for efficient data retrieval.
- Ensure data integrity through validation rules, workflows, and other data management techniques.
- Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Build middleware solutions for more complex integrations to ensure smooth data synchronization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data exchange between Salesforce and other platforms.
- Configure Salesforce settings, features, and functionalities to align with business processes.
- Create and manage user roles, permissions, and profiles to ensure system security and appropriate access levels.
- Set up workflows, approval processes, and validation rules to automate business processes and enhance efficiency.
A must…
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, marketing, commerce, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with Salesforce platform, including familiarity with SFDC Revenue Cloud
- Proficiency in Apex (Salesforce’s proprietary programming language) and Visualforce.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning components and framework.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs for integration tasks.
- Expertise in database management and data modeling.
- Ability to configure and customize Salesforce features without extensive coding.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
