Pump Mechanic Position
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and be proficient in operating various shop equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and machining tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild industrial pump assemblies.
- Read and interpret technical documents, such as engineering drawings and assembly/disassembly procedures.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, productivity metrics, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree in machining or mechanics is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in mechanical repair, rotating equipment, or industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with gearboxes, turbines, compressors, and various pump types.
- Basic understanding of vibration analysis and laser alignment.
- Willingness to travel for service calls, including extended assignments when needed.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret metric and imperial measurements.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
