Budtender

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Budtender to join our team. As a budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and guidance to our customers. If you have a passion for cannabis and enjoy helping others, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

• Job responsibilities include:
• Assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products based on their needs and preferences
• Provide accurate information about different strains, dosages, and consumption methods
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are well-stocked and visually appealing
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulations
• Educate customers on responsible cannabis use and harm-reduction strategies
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and I-502 compliance

- has strong knowledge of different strains, terpenes, cannabinoids, and consumption methods OR may not have the most cannabis knowledge, but is eager to learn

-demonstrates a proactive approach to incorporating feedback.

- can switch between tasks and reprioritization seamlessly, while taking a lot of direction at once.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cannabis products and their effects is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with experience in retail sales and cash register operations
• Proficiency in basic math and retail math for accurate transactions
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide product demos
• Experience in stocking and maintaining inventory in a retail setting
• Familiarity with POS systems and phone etiquette
• Prior experience in upselling and merchandising preferred
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to pass a background check as required by state regulations
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Climb up and down a ladder
• Squat and kneel
• Remain standing for 8 hours
• Move from a seated/kneeling position to a standing position quickly.
• Lift 50 pounds regularly
• Keep arms raised/do overhead work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.66 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 39 per week
