Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a position (32 hours per week) in our Housekeeping Department for a Housekeeper. Housekeeper Responsibilities: The Housekeeper position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment at Floyd Valley Hospital, clinics and other Floyd Valley Healthcare buildings and campus. Must be able to read and write English and have the ability to follow oral directions and work independently. Previous office or commercial cleaning experience and/or training is preferred. Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 45 pounds occasionally. Hours are Monday – Sunday 6:00am – 3:30pm one shift 9:30am – 6:00pm along with every third weekend and every third holiday. Requirements: High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee.
