Your Responsibilities
- Organize and plan the use of painting and blasting equipment and materials for various projects.
- Maintain blasting and painting equipment in good working order.
- Operate spray painting equipment to paint surfaces.
- Abrate metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt using abrasive-blasting equipment.
- Examine and measure finished surfaces to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Cross-train and perform tasks outside your primary position as needed.

- Exposed to fumes and may require wearing a respirator at times.
- Occasionally work at heights using correct PPE.
- Typically noisy manufacturing facility environment.
What You Bring
- 2 years' experience preferred.
- Experience with various coatings, prep work, and blasting methods.
- Experience with multi-part epoxies a plus.
- Working knowledge of Mil thickness, finish requirements, etc.
- NACE experience an asset.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements including fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical, and mechanical devices.
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for time tracking purposes.
