Our North America Site Sales Team is seeking ambitious candidates with passion for learning how to sell technology solutions in the mining industry. Your responsibilities
- Focuses on short to medium-term planning and face-to-face selling of a variety of products, services and/or solutions in a geographic area
- Supports development of short to medium-range sales plans and prepares strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers
- Drive interactions with assigned group of existing customers to identify cross/up and repeat sales opportunities
- Facilitates problem resolutions and ensures customers receive high quality customer service
- Provides input for development of client retention and growth plans
- Customer Acquisition may happen from time to time but majority of focus over time is on existing customers
- Identifies opportunities in existing customer installations for replacement of equipment with parts & consumables from the FLSmidth portfolio (increased wallet share)
- Identify opportunities to expand install base for Products or PCV and share those with the respective business lines.
- Actively engage with Solution Specialist to drive consumables offerings on site.
- Identifies opportunities/leads to grow all Service BL order intake using Field Services Engineering.
- Communicates with the Global Service BL and RSLM’s on market pricing competitiveness and localization/globalization of supply.
- Interacts with Professional Services for onsite support to customers and any U&R opportunities.
- Complete technical training on core mining product lines: Screening, Thickening, Filtration, Pumps, Cyclones, and Valves (PCV), Flotation, Pyromet, Digital, Crushing, and Milling
- Onsite and virtual shadow experiences with sales engineers, field engineers, and product line managers
- Lab rotation experience working with site samples
- Thorough training on our internal sales tools/processes, order handling, and CRM system with participation in external sales effectiveness training
- Guidance to access, organize, and analyze customer data to pinpoint opportunities
- B.S. in Engineering or similar technical qualification or Business degree
- 1 years of experience in the mining industry
- Understanding of mining equipment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel (60%) and preferably live in the Southeastern USA.
