What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cultivation Quality Assurance Professional position at FLUENT?
The Quality Control Manager for Cultivation will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality, compliance, and safety within the cultivation department. This includes overseeing daily and weekly cultivation quality activities, ensuring that all personnel and processes adhere to our production plans and procedures.
About the Role
- You will analyze and develop quality process improvements for cultivation areas, execute quality and compliance goals within cultivation, and ensure quality control, safety, and compliance of all cultivation activities and personnel.
- You will also monitor seed to sale system to ensure compliance obligations are met, review departments raw materials and inputs ensuring quality and compliance standards are met, and document incident reports and execute CAPA plans and investigations.
- In addition, you will ensure proper training, development, and mentorship of employees when needed, verify sanitation practices and overall sanitary conditions within the cultivation department, and have technical expertise on certain pieces of equipment and ability to troubleshoot and disassemble hardware.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience
- Experience working in Cannabis and/or highly regulated industries
- Certified Quality Inspector Certification or obtained within 90 days of employment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
