The Production Manager focuses on strategic planning, optimizing operations, managing projects, increasing production, efficient capacity utilization while minimizing unnecessary cost. Ability to identify areas of strength and weakness and implement company policies, objectives, and systems that propel productivity and positive organizational results. Demonstrated ability to guide and motivate staff to maximize performance and control costs through the most effective uses of organization available resources
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The Production Manager is responsible for strategic planning and meeting organizational objectives.
Duties include:
- Lead the improvement of workflow processes to maximize throughput and enhance operation
- Lead the plant safety culture by implementing proactive program strategies, increasing awareness and ensuring all safety protocols are in place and being adhred to.
· Manage the elimination of waste and unnecessary labor hours to reduce costs.
· Direct the generation of daily operations reporting in efforts to coach, offer feedback and support quick response-improvement initiatives.
· Manage operational budget and approved expenditures to meet financial plan.
· Lead and manage Team Member engagement through management presence, communication outlets, facility improvements and promotion of HR and Operations led programs.
· Manage the efforts in publishing a reliable monthly and quarterly Business Outlook commitment. Maintain an annual strategic operational plan to ensure order fulfillment/ontime deliverables.
· Manag the mindset of top product quality control and inventory management resulting in reduced changeovers and contribution to process optimization.
· Lead the management daily tier meetings, Staff walks and continuous improvement projects.
· Apply lean strategies to implement operational enhancements, promote efficiency and cut costs.
· Assemble, train and support the management Staff promoting Team dynamics involving communication, challenging status-quo, issue resolution cross-functionally and fun.
· Direct initiatives for significant improvement and streamlining of planned service requests and preventive maintenance to increase equipment availability.
- Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff (Daily, Weekly, Weekend work, etc..)

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
· Must be able to work and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
