ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembly of sub-assemblies and power units
- Pulling parts for manufacturing
- Test power units during various phases of construction and upon completion
- Release completed units to staging area.
- Shop cleaning
- Other general manufacturing duties
- Any other duties or responsibilities required or assigned.
Competencies
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Welders may be required to have additional certification.

- Frequently required to stand for long periods of time.
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of shop equipment
- Heavy lifting and carrying of supplies, parts, etc.
- Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around a shop environment.
- Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate response.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Additional Mental Requirements: compare, decide, direct, problem solve, analyze, instruct, interpret.

- Hours average 40 per week; may require additional hours including evening and weekends depending on business needs.
- Work typical performed in an indoor shop environment.
- Basic hand tools including but not limited to; allen wrenches, hammers, wrenches, angle grinders, power tools, and air tools.
- Basic knowledge of machining equipment, such as drill presses and chop saws
- Minimal - up to 10% of the time in instances such as installations or picking up supplies.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in fluid power preferred.
- Any additional industry-related classes a plus, or previous manufacturing experience or background.
