What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance Technician position at Fluor Corp?
*** Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance is required ***
• Maintains grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Safely operates and maintains grounds maintenance equipment such as: lawn mowers, edger, sweeper, string trimmer, rototiller, chainsaw, power hedge trimmer, tractors, and basic gardening hand tools.
• Safely load and transport all types of equipment and/or materials to and from multiple locations.
• Perform snow removal operations and emergency on call services, as necessary, when required 24/7.
• Utilizes all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as required.
• Able to work with others in a team oriented environment to complete assigned tasks as required in a timely and professional manner at all times.
• Installs or replaces turf, trees, ornamental plants, shrubs, ground covers, annuals, and bulbs as directed by their supervisor.
• Assists with repairs and/or installations of fencing and paving materials for pathways, concrete drainage inlets, rock/wood/precast retaining walls, various posts, slabs, drains, and culverts.
• Keeps all relevant tools, equipment, and materials in operating condition and stored in their proper location.
• Maintains service request records, equipment parts listings, equipment service/repair logs, and records of supplies used as required at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations
may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
