Scope
Operating under detailed instructions and review, the purpose of this position is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluor's competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. The purpose of this position is to work on drawings of limited scope, applying basic drafting principles to support the Design Area Lead or Lead.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare intermediate complexity 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings
• Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline
documents for all phases of projects
• Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports
• Incorporate health, safety, and environmental factors in design
• Provide close interface with other discipline function
• Engage Fluor’s global community, promoting a OneFluor mindset
• Apply project standards to design drawings
• Deliver quality work, and adhere to the Operating System Requirements (OSR)
• Execute project work in accordance with approved Activity Plans
• Adhere to industry codes and standards as well as department practices and procedures
• Participate in and promote the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
• Support Process Lead and Department Manager on initiatives
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
• Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
• May need to travel to attend to businessrelated matters
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) months; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

• Prepare and update intermediate complexity 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) piping drawings
• Acquire basic knowledge of 3D CAD systems and procedures
• Intermediate knowledge of 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD)systems and procedures
• Basic knowledge of:
o Piping design drawings
o Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) representation, legends and symbols• Required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
