This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all construction projects and support activities for a medium to large maintenance contract and/or small capital project. Directly supervises construction crews and custodial personnel as required.
Job Description:
• Supervises, assigns, and reviews the work of staff and sets performance standards.
• Responsible for development of building assignments for custodial services, prepares plans for deep cleaning efforts and coordinates services to support meetings and special events.
• Responsible for ensuring teams have all necessary supplies and materials to perform assigned tasks.
• Required to attend meetings as required to provide project status and schedule updates.
• Must be able to effectively identify and develop solutions for roadblocks that arise during task execution by the teams.
• Ability to have attention to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
• Duties include assignment of daily tasks and conduct inspections of work performed. Responsible for the quality and completeness of work performed.
• Able to prioritize and schedule all construction projects while adhering to site policies and procedures.
• Must be able to lead a team of tradesmen in the execution of small to medium sized construction projects.
• Must be engaged with customers, operations teams, project managers, and tradesmen at all times to ensure all work is performed without interruption of service to all equipment.
• Must be able to provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction team and provide specific expertise for problem solving activities
• Responsible for coordination of the completion of construction activities in assigned systems and prepare punch lists to ensure the readiness of systems for release for turnover to the client or for start up
• Participate in pre-construction planning efforts and development of projects phasing, including the coordination and implementation of the constructability of such projects.
• Must be able to lead teams to ensure they work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, site safety plans and safe work practices at all times.
• Prepares worker accident reports; identifies and resolves safety hazards for staff; arranges for employee safety training; maintains safety records and personnel certifications.
• May be required to work extended shifts and weekends.

#Intel• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner• Journeyman certification in an applicable trade.
• Prior experience leading building services or construction crews in a lead, foreman or superintendent role.
• Proficient in common software programs to include the use of the Microsoft Office Suite as well as SAP software.• Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph
• U.S. Citizen
• At least (12) years of applicable experience in the construction field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge and ability to train employees in multiple disciplines with an emphasis in the carpentry and electrical trades.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all related trades.
