What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Clerk II position at Fluor Corporation?
Under direct supervision, this role performs routine payroll department and administrative activities.
- Processes weekly timecards and payroll accounting
- Performs data entry, and produces and analyzes reports while utilizing standard payroll and timekeeping systems
- Monitors all Fluor timeclocks on site, issue badges, and generates required reports
- Consolidates and generates weekly reports of employee hours. Transmits report to Fluor Corporate and Client
- Completes Client invoicing & reconciliations as required
- Assists with monthly forecasting and accruals for Fluor Corporate and Client
- Processes Vendor Invoices and send to Corporate AP
- As required, performs AP Corrections & Credit Card Statement admin
- Processes daily mail and miscellaneous office duties
- Sorts and sends files for retention as required
- Orders office supplies, phones and computers
- Performs special projects for management as requested
- Complies with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs
- Manage/track attendance of craft personnel
- Forward craft call-ins via email and voicemail
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
- A combination of education and directly related experience equal to one (1) year
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic personal computer skills to include Microsoft software
- Basic math skills
- Basic understanding of file organization
Salary Range
34,500 to 54,500
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
