Position Overview:
Flurry Fitness is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual for the Manager-in-Training (MIT) position. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and training in various aspects of fitness facility management, with a focus on marketing, cleaning, membership acquisition, and customer relations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong passion for the fitness industry.
Potential for advancement
Responsibilities:
- Marketing:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Flurry Fitness and increase brand awareness.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and other marketing channels.
- Pass out flyers, Set up booths at events.
- Cleaning:
- Oversee and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
- Establish and implement cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Train and manage cleaning staff to maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the gym.
- Membership Acquisition:
- Actively engage with potential members and provide information about membership options.
- Conduct facility tours and effectively communicate the value of joining Flurry Fitness.
- Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed membership targets.
- Customer Relations:
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for members.
- Address member inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Build strong relationships with members to enhance their overall experience.

Training and Development:
The Manager-in-Training will undergo a comprehensive training program that covers all aspects of the position. This includes on-the-job training, and mentorship to ensure a smooth transition into a managerial role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
