The Senior Water Resources Engineer will play a vital role in managing water resources tasks and contributing to project success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project specifications, complete project documents, and provide analysis and reports.
- Analyze and interpret data, conducting impact studies, cost analyses, design requirements, and site selection.
- Design systems, components, and processes related to water resources engineering.
- Perform quality control reviews, field reviews, and observations of ongoing construction projects.
- Provide technical guidance to junior and support staff, and manage small multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the technical expert, reviewing and approving scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
- Proficiency in production software and construction document production.
- Proven ability to address challenging issues and deliver innovative solutions.
- Experience working on major projects or multiple moderate-sized projects, providing technical guidance to junior staff.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
