Role Objective:
Actively generate and close private jet charter sales by building relationships with brokers, understanding their travel needs, sourcing suitable aircraft options, providing competitive quotes, and managing the booking process to achieve established sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer service throughout the sale experience.
Essential Job Tasks:
- Customer relationship managements – Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing personalized service, addressing inquiries promptly, and understanding their specific travel requirements.
- Aircraft sourcing – accessing the company’s fleet to find the most suitable aircraft based on client needs, including size, range, amenities, and pricing.
- Quote generation – creating detailed and competitive charter quotes, including flight itinerary, pricing, and any additional services requested by the broker.
- Operational coordination – collaborating with the operations team to coordinate flight details, including departure/arrival times, ground transportation, and catering arrangements.
- Market knowledge – staying updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and regulations related to private jet charter operations.
Competencies:
- Strong sales acumen (required) – proven ability to close deals, manage objections, and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent communication skills – articulating complex information clearly and confidently to clients, both verbally and in writing.
- Customer service focus – prioritizing customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
- Aviation knowledge (preferred) – Understanding aircraft types, capabilities, and related industry terminology.
- Market awareness – staying informed about the private jet charter market dynamics and competitor landscape.
- CRM proficiency – ability to effectively manages sales pipelines and customer data within a CRM system.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in determining most appropriate response or action in a variety of situations.
Work Environment:
- Work is generally performed within an office environment at the company office in Ocoee, Florida with standard office equipment.
- Work will also need to be performed from a remote location, as the demands of this role require work after standard office hours.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Operate a telephone requiring oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Some Physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently.
- Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others.
Travel:
- There is minimal travel required for this position.
Required Education/Experience:
- Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position.
- Use of excel to update pricing guidelines and projections.
- Use of Avinode for quoting.
- Use of Jet Insight for operations.
- Use of email, text, and phone calls to book trips.
- Must work well with the operations team and also the FAA guidelines for pilot duty, rest, and flight time requirements.
- Providing exceptional customer service skills and interacting with brokers in a professional manner.
- Completing tasks and projects with a sense of urgency, working independently to solve problem.
- Multi-tasking effectively, prioritizing appropriately, and providing timely communication of project(s) status.
