Job Title : Flight Operations Coordinator

Reports To : Director of Student Support

Job Summary :

The Flight Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of our aviation department and ensuring the smooth execution of flight services. This position involves supervising student interns, coordinating schedules, and overseeing various tasks to maintain operational efficiency and exceptional customer service standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Managing labor of student interns, including their schedule creation and hour approval
Overseeing interns' daily responsibilities

Duties / Responsibilities :

Assist with the creation of the Career Program base schedule.

Manage day-to-day flight re-scheduling and cancellations.

Ensure timely handling of phone calls and emails to the Front Desk.

Oversight of reservation billing to ensure accuracy, including periodic billing audits.

Occasional event coordination for internal company events and student involvement events.

Communicating with Signature to ensure proper planes are pulled from and put into the hangar daily, as well as confirming all aircraft are secured each night.

Facilitating smooth communication between various departments.

Requirements : Skill Requirements :

Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in a team environment.

Clear and concise communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and scheduling purposes.

Ability to manage written communication via Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous experience in aviation operations or related roles preferred.

Familiarity with flight scheduling software and billing systems preferred.

Salary Description :

40,000-$50,000 per year
