Senior Material Analyst

Job Description
The Senior Material Analyst will be responsible for training, managing productivity, and leading problem-solving initiatives for all Corporate Analysts. This role involves maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and collaborating with sourcing teams to support continuous process improvements for both corporate and operating units.
Essential Functions
- Support the rollout of ERP implementation initiatives.
- Troubleshoot daily and ongoing purchasing bottlenecks.
- Ensure Material Analysts work in alignment with SOPs and KPIs.
- Develop training plans and schedules for Material Analyst functions.
- Manage the requisition-to-purchase order process.
- Ensure order reception at suppliers is properly followed through.
- Create plans, forecasts, and schedules to meet material requirements for operational needs. Conduct invoice reconciliation.
- Manage the self-billing process.
- Make recommendations based on analysis and findings.
- Monitor variances and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in regular planning reviews and prepare data in alignment with any changes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving business and departmental enhancements.
- Assist with other departmental tasks as assigned by the manager.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Billing and customer service experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This role operates in both a professional office environment and a professional food manufacturing environment. The position routinely uses standard office equipment while also working in a manufacturing setting.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.
Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM but days and hours of work may vary depending on the needs of the business.
