- A minimum of 2 years of management experience in the food service industry (required)
- Impeccably high standards of service
- Ability to make every guest and member feel welcome and special
- Responding to guest complaints and resolving them in a way that ensures every guest and member leaves happy
- Positive attitude, come from a place of "yes," where no task is it too large or too small. We value “guest obsession”.
- Interest and level of competency in food, wine, beer and spirits
- Previous private club experience is a plus
- Strong, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail, whether in the office or in the Grill
- Working knowledge of Jonas POS preferred
- Professional and polished presentation in dress, attitude, actions and conversation
- Punctual & Reliable
- Adaptive to environments
- Dynamic personality, high energy, charismatic, patient and responsible
- Remain calm and unflappable in the presence of stress
- Ability to hire and train staff quickly before pool season
- Ability to coach, mentor and supervise young staff members while maintaining professionalism
- Scheduling and managing all Grill positions with adherence to labor budgets.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational abilities and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Point-of-Sale operations is required.
Must possess a high level of customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Competency in dealing with members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy. Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Will have contact with Golf Course superintendent, Golf Pro, Membership Director, Athletic Director, Food & Beverage personnel, and other industry related people and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing and operational success of the company.
